New home paint is Indian Peach for the siding and Bold Terra Cotta for the trim.
Some of the photos show the trim as a bit redder than it really looks.

The work of  the summer of 2005 -
new garden beds along old,
unimproved hillside; also the
lower deck (left) for stargazing.

Initial planting for the summer of 2006
and the new construction to finish
up the landscaping along hillside.

New construction.

Second corn crop is up and some
tomato plants fill up lower bed.

The front white-picket fence project

After some 14 years of neglect and weather, I finally got around to repainting the white picket fence.  See the photos at the top of this page to see what it was looking like.  But, it was more than just a painting project.  I also took the opportunity to redo this landscaping feature.

I took down each section and scraped, cleaned, caulked, primed and painted (two coats) them.  I also replaced 7 (I think) of the pickets.  I resealed the capstones on the the pillars, and treated the brick.  I dug up the ground cover (mostly weeds!) and laid in a brick edging with a gravel bed under the fence.  Whew!  Three weeks of work.
